Music For Mission

Music for Mission is a concert series that marries the work of two of our strongest ministries - Music and Mission. Since its inception in 2017, Music for Mission has raised more than $15,000.00 for mission partners, including the Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County, the Family Resource Center, and Food for the Soul. The goal of Music for Mission is twofold:

  1. To raise awareness and financial support for non-profit organizations whose work LSUMC supports, and
  2. To enrich the lives of our audiences by inviting outstanding musicians to present these events.

These concerts are free and open to the public. A freewill offering is collected, and 100% of the proceeds directly benefit our mission partner for the day. For our 2022-2023 series, please stay tuned for more information.

Our latest concert was Light of the World, a "Christmas in July" concert. The freewill offering was given in support of Rise Against Hunger. To view this concert, please click here.

If you feel led to support this concert series as a volunteer, event sponsor, or in any other way, please contact Cameron Lambert, Director of Music, for more information.
