UMYF

United Methodist Youth Fellowship

YOUTH Release & Medical Forms Download

Mason/Parker Scholarship Form

Age: 6th - 12th grade

Meeting Time: Sundays, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Location: Family Life Center - Fellowship Hall

Leader: Mary Abbott

Developing and strengthening a relationship with Christ is the most important aspect of our United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF). Through Bible stories, scripture readings, and small group discussions, our youth learn how to apply the Biblical principles to their daily lives. In addition to the learning aspect, we also teach our young people how to serve others and give back to their community. Mission trips and opportunities such as Salkehatchie and Give Kids the World teach our youth valuable life lessons and skills.

We also find opportunities to have fun! Our youth enjoy events like our biennial ski trips, summer mystery trips, progressive suppers, lock-ins, and much more! We also attend Revolution and participate in the annual SCMYP Basketball Tournament. Additionally, our most active graduating seniors are welcome to apply for the Mason/Parker college scholarship. All youths are welcome to participate in UMYF at Lyttleton Street - membership is not required.

All of our youth and children's activities adhere to our Safe Sanctuary Policy. If you are interested in UMYF, whether for your children or as a volunteer, please contact Mary Abbott, Director of Youth and Children.
