Traditional Worship

We gather for traditional worship in our historic sanctuary every Sunday at 9:00 a.m. Join us for a multi-generational, vibrant service where everyone is welcome. Our choirs and recently renovated organ anchor congregational singing at these services, which generally last just about one hour. For more information about our organ, please contact our organist Ike Pitts.

Communion is shared on the first Sunday of every month except in December, when we observe the Eucharist on Christmas Eve. At Lyttleton Street, communion is open to all who seek a closer relationship with God and neighbors.

Our new traditional worship service times will be 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. beginning November 27, 2022!

Contemporary Worship

Our contemporary worship service meets in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday mornings at 11:15 a.m. Like almost all of our ministries at LSUMC, this is a multi-generational service. Music is led by our energetic Contemporary Worship Team. Join us for this uplifting service in a more modern atmosphere.

Our new contemporary worship service time will be 11:30 a.m. beginning November 27, 2022.

5th Sunday Worship

Join us in the Lyttleton Street UMC gymnasium during months with 5th Sundays. Our 5th Sunday services are held at 10:00 a.m. and are a blend of our traditional and contemporary worship services. Our next 5th Sunday worship service is January 29, 2023.
